The energy released by the slippage of the plate tectonics causes earthquake vibrations. The released energy travels through the Earth in the form of waves, separated into three classes: primary, secondary and surface waves.

What we see here is the visible time arrival, the manifestations of this waves and their distruction forces. Due to this destructive forces, the secondary waves are far more damaging than the others.
